About SDCCBH
Dedicated to our Members & South Dakota’s Wellbeing
South Dakota Council of Community Behavioral Health (SDCCBH) is dedicated to serving the needs of South Dakota’s community mental health centers and substance use disorder treatment providers. We promote the importance of these organizations and provide opportunities for collaboration among clinic leaders. It’s a challenge to juggle clients’ needs, administrative tasks, and continuing education requirements . We lobby for state legislation affecting our members and their clients. We also provide several networking opportunities each year for mental and behavioral health leaders across the state of South Dakota.
At some time in everyone’s life, a person may have emotional or addiction problems causing as much pain, for them and their family, as a physical illness. Our members are committed to easing that pain through a full range of quality mental health, addiction recovery, education and consultation services. They serve South Dakotans with professional, confidential services in the most effective and efficient manner possible, regardless of one’s ability to pay.
